Diagnostic Call Out and Checklist

Service Prices An important part of Peninsula Air Conditioning's business is maintaining systems they have installed.

If your system is not working as you think it should we can arrange for a technician to visit and perform a diagnostic check.

A Diagnostic Call Out costs $199* for the call out & up to an hour of our technicians time; if we can fix the problem in that time we will, if not we will quote you to repair, replace, or both. If your system is covered by warranty then you will not be charged; however please be aware of what is and isn't covered by warranty, by checking Daikin's warranty card and our Terms and Conditions. However, before booking a technicians visit it is worth running through our Diagnostic Checklist - it could save you a call out fee and a wait.

The system does not seem to be cooling/heating enough. Check the following...

E.g. Heating or Cooling
SUN Symbol is for Heating
SNOWFLAKE symbol for Cooling
These setting are controlled by your MODE button.

The system is not responding to the remote…

The system seems to be struggling and making a noise…

The Outdoor unit emits water or steam...

The indoor unit gives out an odour...

The outdoor fan rotates while the air conditioning system is not in operation...

An abnormal function happens during operation...

The system has a fault code...

The system is not working at all or not working as it should…

If you are still having problems, then please contact us and will endeavour to help, or put you on our service schedule for a technician to assess your problem as soon as possible. If your system is working okay but it's a while since it's been looked at, a General Service is probably a good idea.
