Air Conditioning Service Price List, Terms and Warranty

Listed below are all our charges for General Air Conditioning Services and Diagnostic Call Outs.

General Air Conditioning Services

1 system - indoor and outdoor unit $149*
Additional Systems $60 each
Additional Heads - Multi split systems $30 each
Coil Clean (carried out at the same time as a GS) $55
Anti-Corrosive Protection (carried out at the same time as a GS) $55

*Discounted price is offered to customers that are having a general service carried out on systems that we have installed.
Proof of purchase may be required.

Air Conditioning Diagnostic Charges

Diagnostic Call Out - Up to 1 hour $199*
Any Parts and Materials required Via Quote

Repair vs Replacement

Seriously consider the cost of repair against replacement. It is possible once a repair is fixed that another fault arises. It is not always possible to diagnose this until the first fault is fixed.

Payments

Credit Card Details are required for you to go onto our schedule. Cash or cheque payments can be made to our technician on the day; however if this alternative payment method is not utilised, giving us your details authorises us to take payment from your credit card. This saves us extra administration in chasing up payments after the event.
If you believe the problem is covered by manufacturers warranty, credit card details will still be required up front; however if, upon inspection of the system, the problem is found to be covered by warranty no charges will be forward to you.

Booking Confirmation

Once full details have been given to us, you are put onto our schedule and we will contact you a day or two before we can get to you. If you have any days that are not good or better for you, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We will not be able to confirm an exact time of visit, but we can give you a rough idea if it will be morning or afternoon and can ask the technician to call you when he is on his way.

Please note:

During extreme temperatures your air conditioning system will be working at it's hardest and this is when most problems can occur. We will endeavour to get to you as soon as possible, but there could be a slight wait as this will be when we are at our busiest. Your patience and understanding would be appreciated.

Air Conditioning Services Warranty

Manufacturer's Warranty:
Defects in material and factory workmanship, including labour.
Residential: 5 years
Commercial: 1 year or 5 years
if for human comfort.
VRV: 1 year (3 yrs compressor)
Peninsula Air Conditioning Installation Warranty:
All materials and labour, unless otherwise stated.
5 years
Refrigerant piping & Condensate Drains:
Materials and labour
1 year
Condensate Pumps, Electrical & accessories:
Materials and labour
1 year
Spare Parts:
Parts only, not including labour.
1 year
Ducting: 5 years

Please be aware of what is and isn't covered by warranty. If upon inspection of your system the problem is something not covered by warranty, you may be charged for a diagnostic call out. If upon inspection the problem is due to misuse, or no problem found, this is not covered by warranty, and again you maybe charged for a call out.
