At Peninsula Air Conditioning we specialise in installing air conditioning systems into buildings during construction. From simple split and ducted systems, to more complicated VRV multiple fancoil solutions in large luxury homes, we do them all.
For residential construction we can work from drawings in either PDF or DWG format. We can liaise directly with your architect and builder to ensure we propose a solution that enables your air conditioning to fit seamlessly into your home; however, prior to delivering a firm quotation, we will need to meet with you, preferably on-site, to discuss matters further and ensure we are quoting you for exactly what you want.
For larger homes and commercial premises with multiple air conditioning systems, we can provide computerised heat load programs and system designs using Daikin’s own in house selection program, VRV Express.
If this is of interest to you please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and attach your drawings. We will contact you shortly to arrange a convenient time to meet you to discuss matters further; please be aware that designs can typically take 7 days with larger homes requiring heat load and VRV Express calculations taking longer.
Please read our air conditioning pages to familiarise yourself with what types of air conditioning system are available and what you may prefer; we can then discuss these options with you at our initial meeting.
Here are a few examples
This is an 8th floor apartment at Queenscliff over looking the sea. We replaced a standard split system with a Daikin bulkhead system with naturalised aluminium grilles to match the décor in the rest of the Kitchen. All the fittings, screws, threaded rod, etc was of marine grade stainless steel or copper to minimise the chance of corrosion for as long as possible. The outdoor unit was treated twice with anti-corrosive spray on both the coil and the PCB’s (printed circuit boards)
This was an apartment in Kirribilli overlooking the harbour. The bulkhead was already there and so instead of installing a split system on a side wall, we put a Daikin bulkhead system inside the existing formwork and patched and painted around it.
This was a knock down and rebuild in Vaucluse. The client particularly wanted flangeless grilles, which look really nice but can be very time consuming (and therefore costly!) to install.
This was a rebuild at Wentworth Road, Point Piper. More flangeless grilles and a 33kW Daikin VRV outdoor unit.
