Grilles come in various materials, styles, shapes and finishes. There are certain elements that need to be considered when choosing grilles, such as size to match the air flow required. Plastic grilles are generally a better option than aluminium for air conditioning, as on extremely hot days aluminium grilles can sweat (condensate); a bit like taking a cold can of drink out of the fridge on a hot day. However aesthetically aluminium does look much better.
